HIGH SCHOOL OFF-SEASON TRAINING OPPS

OPTIONALS WITH THE COACHING STAFF  WILL RESUME AFTER THE HOLIDAYS! Weight room sessions are still open.! Optional opportunities will be posted as they become available. This information will also always be sent via email and posted in TeamStuff. If you are new and not receiving regular emails, please reach out to Coach Connie at sfglaxcoach@gmail.com.

The coaching staff expects all players not participating in another sport to be at optionals. We cannot be successful unless we are putting the work necessary in the off-season!!! All players, even if in another sport, needs to work on sticks on their own time.

WEIGHT ROOM:

Sessions are Wednesdays 7-7:50pm and Fridays 6-6:50pm until further notice.

*PLEASE WEAR A COMFORTABLE FACE MASK.

FIELD TRAINING:

Saturdays at the Brownson House, 12:30-2:00pm beginning January 23, 2021, for six Saturdays.  Details later.

STICKWORK IS YOUR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Find at least 20 minutes for wall ball (or rebounder work) at the minimum 4 days a week, more time is highly suggested! There is no way to control the ball if you cannot pass and catch efficiently. Nothing will help you improve stick skills than wall ball/rebounder work.  

  • Shoot (if you have a goal or rebounder) - it does not matter what position you play, practicing your shooting helps with passing and catching. Besides that, you never know when your position could change. ALWAYS BE READY FOR ANYTHING!
